A Bit About Me

So, I'm originally here from the Seattle area.   Love the outdoors, hiking, snowboarding, immersing myself in nature.

I practice meditation, exercise regularly, and spend time with family.  I'm always learning about health, diet, history. I'm fascinated by economics, money, and human psychology.   My spiritual life is also incredibly important to me providing me with a higher view and deeper meaning of what sometimes seems to be a life of tremendous pain and suffering.

From a very young age I began to experience health issues.  Small things at first, but progressively worse over time.  Eventually I ended up with Lyme disease and severe digestive issues which was profoundly destructive on my body.   I began a deep dive into healing on multiple levels.

I explored physical therapies, Muscle Testing, Chiropractic, Massage, Acupuncture, & Craniosacral.  I explored emotional healing, therapy, and psychedelic journeys.  I also went through some pretty radical diet changes to address the deeper issues of digestive imbalances and proper nutrition.  I had to address traumas from the past that lingered in my body creating discord and pain.

My healing has been a 20-year journey of discovery.  It still continues to this day and really, I can see now that being healthy is not something you just get and then don't have to think about anymore.  Being healthy is a lifestyle.

Its been one of the most rewarding, insightful, and amazing journeys I could have taken.  It's also been one of the most difficult, and frustrating experiences I've ever had.

This process has made me very passionate about healing and helping others on their journey of healing as well.

I often see people in the places I've been, the confusion, frustration, and desire to feel better.  It's this experience that keeps me going, keeps me focused on continuing to learn and help others.

My training includes, Massage Therapy, Craniosacral Therapy, and I'm in the middle of training in a new modality called Bowen Technique.  My philosophy to healing is that force is not required.  The body wants to return to balance and health.  In fact, the entire body is marshaling all its resources towards that very goal.  It's often the gentlest approaches that create the biggest effects; it's a conversation with our bodies.  Our bodies are not an enemy, or a problem, they are telling us what's wrong and how to come back to ourselves.  Healing is about understanding what we're doing in our lives that gets in the way of our natural healing process.

My job as a therapist is to assist you in your process of healing.  Yours is to ask yourself, what do I need to change in my life that's causing me illness.
